About the Manager
Hi, I’m Rebbeka!
I’ve led retail teams for 10 years, and I’ve started the manager job in three very different ways:
• Promoted from within, which meant managing people who were my coworkers the week before
• Brought in from outside, which meant earning trust from a team that didn’t choose me
• Building a team from scratch, which meant hiring everyone and setting the tone from day one
Each one had its own challenges, and I learned something different every time. I built bCubed Management to give new managers what I wish I’d had: clear, practical tools from someone who’s been on the floor.
My motto is simple: "My job is to make your job as easy as possible, so my job is as easy as possible." It works in all three situations, and it’s how I’ve built everything here.
